Sixth Stone II

Description

Closely related to Fifth Stone, Sixth Stone I, II, and III are largely variations on the same image. They differ only in the number of stones used (printed in black, brown, ocher, red, and white) and the type of surface these are printed on (two on paper, one on muslin). These were Bontecou’s first fully colored prints.
